- Toasted bread aroma with a long dark chocolate finish
- 100 percent Arabica, made in Italy

How to Brew
Insert a capsule into a Nespresso Original Line machine and brew a ristretto, an espresso or a lungo depending on how strong you like it. Forte stands up well to milk, so it works in cappuccinos and lattes. Keep the box in a cool, dry place and use the capsules by the printed date.
About illy
illy is an Italian coffee company founded in 1933 by Francesco Illy in Trieste, where it is still based. The brand is known for a single 100 percent Arabica blend that it roasts to different intensities and sells as whole bean, ground and capsule coffee. It is also a certified B Corporation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do illy Forte capsules work in every Nespresso machine?
No. These aluminum capsules are made for Nespresso Original Line machines, the compact models that take the small capsule, and they do not fit Vertuo machines that use larger barcoded pods. If you are unsure which system you own, check the model name on your machine before ordering.
What makes illy Forte different from other illy capsules?
Forte is the darkest roast of the illy blend, labeled Ricco e Deciso. It has a toasted bread aroma and a long dark chocolate finish. Milder choices such as Classico suit drinkers who want a softer cup, while Forte is for those who prefer a more intense, full-flavored coffee.
Can I make milk drinks with illy Forte capsules?
Yes. The extra bold roast holds its character when milk is added, so it suits cappuccinos and lattes. Brew a ristretto or espresso shot for the strongest base, or a lungo if you prefer a longer cup. Adjust the pour to your own taste and machine.
Which illy Forte pack sizes are available for cafes and offices?
Forte capsules are offered as a Single 10 ct box, a Pack of 3, a Pack of 6 or a Pack of 10 boxes. Cafes, offices and busy households can choose the bigger packs to keep a Nespresso Original Line machine stocked through the week.
